Kawakawa London, UK
London-based singer-songwriter Sam Taylor was born in Kawakawa, New Zealand and raised in
England.
Following on from 2014 debut album Island Species, he released Don’t Forget Your Art in 2016 – an EP where the pared-down setting of only keys and his voice helped the songs come alive within a subtly atmospheric setting, bringing to mind Ed Harcourt, Antony & The Johnsons and ‘UP’ era REM.
